Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What kind of medical treatment do you provide?

We specialize in fast and effective physician care, for most non-life threatening conditions due illness or injury, as well as preventive care, travel medicine, and employers services. We bridge the gap between a primary care physician and the ER, providing extended hours, seven days a week, with CLIA certified labs, digital x-ray, splints & braces, vaccines, and more.

However, if you have a life-threatening condition or emergency, you should always call 911 and seek a hospital ER.

What's the difference between Urgent Care and Emergency Room?

Urgent care is for conditions that require prompt attention but do not pose an immediate, serious threat to your health or life. In general, if your medical issue is life threatening call 911 or go directly to a hospital emergency room. If not, an urgent care center such as Cathedral Medical Urgent Care and Family Care is an excellent alternative.

Do you treat all ages?

We treat adults and children, ages 6 months and up.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, you can walk in during our normal business hours and be seen by a physician without a long wait. Most patients are in and out in about an hour.

How much does a typical visit cost?

An average visit costs $100.

For insured patients, we collect your deductible and/or your co-pay at the time of service, and then bill your insurer for you. After your insurer sends an EOB (explanation of benefits) to us, Cathedral Medical Urgent Care will bill you for any balance still due.

The costs for our state of the art digital X-ray is additional, but we will always explain the cost before proceeding with any procedure so you can decide to move forward or not.

We have a standard discount for all of our rates for patients without medical insurance

Do you treat allergies?
